Celebrating Black Excellence in Literature!
Annually the Nat Turner Library validates and awards Black authors for their literary contributions to Black life, history and culture. The day begins Saturday at noon with the Authors Showcase, a platform for authors and poets to share their literary works followed by a book signing. A delicious plant-based 'Soul Food' dinner will be served. The Awards ceremony begins at 6:00 pm.
TICKETS: $20 for Adults. $10 for Teens ages 13-19. FREE Admission for Children 12 & under. Tickets include admission to this full day of events - Authors Showcase, Dinner and Awards Ceremony.
